CFS Students Visit Trinidad-Tobago & SPM Students Travel to LA
For the second year in a row, students in both Child and Family Studies and Sport Management will participate in immersion programs related to their majors during Spring Break 2012. Students majoring in child and family studies will be traveling to Trinidad and Tobago to orient them to educational systems in these Caribbean areas.
Sport management students will travel to Los Angeles, immersing themselves in the sport industry. A full itinerary for the week-long experience includes meetings and tours with the PGA Tour-Toshiba Classic, NASCAR, Warner Bros. Studios, FOX, and AEG. Other activities include the LA Clippers vs. Atlanta NBA game at the Staples Center and visits to the Rose Bowl, Home Depot Center, Mandalay Sports, LA Coliseum and LA Dodgers facilities.
