How does medical stress impact development as adults age? Please join HDFS professor Catherine Garcia, PhD, CPG as she shares sample curriculum on this topic. This lecture considers whether the increase in life expectancy means more years of poor health or more active years. Part of the answer depends on an individual’s race, gender, and social class, as well as lifestyle practices such as smoking, drinking, and exercise.
This will be an exciting and interactive session, so please come prepared to participate in this event. We look forward to seeing you!
