White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health Watch Party Event

Sep 28, 2022 9:00 am 5:55 pm
Falk College, Room 335,
150 Crouse Dr. Syracuse, NY 13244

Join us Wednesday, September 28 in Falk 335 to watch the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.

The first White House Conference on Food, Nutrition, and Health was held in 1969 and led to the creation of impactful programs like school lunches and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Now more than 50 years later, this conference will focus on transformative change in the U.S. to end hunger and improve nutrition and physical activity, with a focus on closing disparities in these areas.

Please attend the watch party as your schedule allows and join in on conversations with faculty, staff, and students in Falk College. Attendees are encouraged to bring a food donation for the Hendrick’s Chapel Food Pantry.
