Sport Management students gain industry experience during senior Capstone

“Throughout a student’s time in the Department of Sport Management, the faculty and staff put an emphasis on the importance of experiential learning and the highlight of this is the senior Capstone,” said Sport Management internship placement coordinator Francesco Riverso. “We impress upon each student that it’s their responsibility to take the time to educate themselves on the industry, to network with professionals, to go through the application process and to ultimately find an organization to become a part of. The Capstone process is an incredible learning experience for the students and helps prepare them for successful careers in the sport industry.”
