Farmchan Saecho

Farmchan Saechao has been an intern in the Neuromuscular Physiology Laboratory (NPL) for two years, assisting in participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis. Her unwavering commitment to research resulted in her being named the NPL Undergraduate Lab Director for 2024-2025. Her recent project was supported by a Syracuse Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Engagement (SOURCE) Bridge Award.

During her time in the NPL, Farmchan has presented her data at four conferences and is an author on two manuscripts in preparation. After graduation, she plans to continue her studies at Syracuse University in the Exercise Science Master of Science program.

Graduate Research Excellence Award

Recipient: Julia Prestipino

Julia Prestipino
Julia Prestipino has worked in the Neuromuscular Physiology Laboratory for the past year. During this time, Julia helped to design and implement her final M.S. project, actively collecting data on human participants.

Despite having limited prior research experience, she has done an exceptional job at participant recruitment, scheduling, and methodology, including learning and implementing transcranial magnetic stimulation. Data from her project has been presented at an internal conference and, when completed, will result in a published manuscript.

Department Marshals

Every department in Falk College selects a graduate and an undergraduate student to act as a Department Marshal. These students are chosen based on their academic achievements and service to their department and Falk College, and they lead their departments in the academic procession at Falk College Convocation.
