ADA Participation Action Research Consortium (ADA PARC) is a multi-site research collaboration bringing together the Americans with Disabilities Act centers to examine the factors that influence the participation of people with disabilities in their communities to identify key participation disparities and strategically act to address them. We are conducting a multiregional strategic gap analyses across three primary participation areas (community living, community participation, and economic equity); analyzing findings specific to people with disabilities from underrepresented communities, intersecting identities, and those impacted by COVID-19; validating and sharing participation equity web-based data visualization and scorecards; and collaboratively designing a peer mentoring program to create citizen scientists and change agents who will learn how to make sense of this disparities research and use ADA PARC findings to advocate for systems and policy changes.
