Seven Falk College staff members were honored for excellence in a ceremony held in August 2015. Dean Murphy and Falk College presented awards to: Nadaya Brantley, internship coordinator, Social Work; Jaime Grillo, internship coordinator, Sport Management; Mamie Hensel, counselor, Student Services; Annette Hodgens, recruiting specialist, Admissions; Tracey Reichert-Schimpff, director, clinical services, Marriage & Family Therapy; JoAnne Turner, manager, student records, Student Services, and; Kate Veley, events and alumni manager, Office of the Dean.
Rising Star Award: Jaime Grillo, internship coordinator, Department of Sport Management Recognizes an individual for extraordinary efforts on behalf of students, parents, coworkers, his or her department, the college and the university community.
Community Ambassador Award: Nadaya Brantley, internship placement coordinator, School of Social Work Recognizes those individuals who give of their time and talents over and above their job responsibilities, both within the University as well as outside in the greater community.
College Diplomat Award: Annette Hodgens, recruiting specialist, Office of Admissions Recognizes an individual for extraordinary efforts on behalf of students, parents, coworkers, his or her department, the college and the university community.
Lifetime Achievement Award: Mamie Hensel, counselor, Office of Student Services and JoAnne Turner, manager, student records, Office of Student Services Recognizes an individual for extraordinary efforts on behalf of students, parents, coworkers, his or her department, the college and the university community. This award honors employees with 20 or more years of service to Syracuse University.
Staff Member of the Year: Tracey Reichert-Schimpff, director, clinical services, Department of Marriage & Family Therapy Recognizes outstanding service and exemplary achievement in meeting the needs of their department and/or the Falk College, with a positive attitude, dedication, loyalty and people skills. This award recognizes a person who embodies the ideas and philosophies of the Falk College, with an emphasis on its continued success.
