I am looking forward to serving as the President of the HDFS Graduate Student Group this year. I plan to continue the work started by the inaugural leadership team last year and, also to develop new and exciting initiatives to support our HDFS graduate community even more!

I look forward to continuing to foster community and opportunity for the graduate students. Hello everyone! My name is Julia Rizzo and I’m from Long Island, NY. I am a senior majoring in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in psychology, and this is my second year on the KON executive board. I served as Secretary last year, and I am excited to now serve as President of the chapter. KON accomplished many wonderful things over the past year, and I look forward to continuing our involvement in Falk College and expanding our outreach. As we transition back to a more traditional academic year, our goals are to guide and support Falk students and create a greater sense of community. Hi everyone! My name is Maddie and I am a junior majoring in Human Development and Family Science, with two minors in public health and nutrition. I plan on getting my master’s in public health and eventually working in maternal and child health promotion. I’m from Rochester, NY which is only about an hour and a half from Syracuse. This is my first year in KON and on the executive board. I am super excited to be a part of KON and to connect with more students in HDFS this semester!
