Jaime Grillo started as an internship placement coordinator in Sport Management in December 2013. Previously, she worked as an academic counselor at Syracuse University in The College of Arts and Sciences. As an academic counselor she worked with a diverse population, ranging from students who are on academic probation to students who are pursuing Pre-Law and Pre-Health professions. Prior to working at Syracuse University, Jaime served as interim head softball coach at Colgate University for 2011-2012. From 2007-2011, she implemented a Retention Program and served as a retention counselor for On Point for College, Inc., a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to enhance access to Higher Education for low-income, inner city youth in Syracuse, and provide them the necessary support to succeed. Jaime is a former softball student-athlete and an alumni of Syracuse University, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2004 and Master of Arts in Student Affairs Counseling in 2007. Jaime’s office is located at 810 Nottingham Road (Drumlins Complex).
