I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jane Bloom, MSW, MIPP, a 1969 Syracuse University alumna and engaged Falk College Advisory Board member. Jane was a truly remarkable social worker who devoted her life to improving the lives of refugees who settled in the U.S. and became an influential leader on international refugee policy efforts. In addition to her personal and professional dedication to service, she invested in the next generation of social workers by supporting Falk College to create learning opportunities for Falk students. On behalf of the entire Falk College community, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Jane’s family and loved ones, and to all who are affected by this tragic accident.
