Renie Kehres

Dr. Kehres was the Associate Dean of Student Services from 2010 to 2013 and Assistant Dean of Student Services from 2013 to 2017, where she oversaw all services provided through the Falk College Student Services office including advising processes for undeclared students and support services for students on academic probation and/or experiencing some challenge that comprises their academic success. She had also been a Professor of Practice within the Department of Human Development and Family Science from 2006 to 2018.

She was previously the evaluator for the Syracuse City School District 21st Century Community Learning Centers afterschool programs. She had been named as a primary evaluator for a 2 million dollar U.S. Department of Education grant (Partnerships in Character Education) with the Utica City School District. Dr. Kehres consulted with community programs and initiatives to assist them in integrating research into their practice. She also has worked with the Bridges Out of Poverty initiative in Onondaga County and has presented at local, state and national conferences on the topics of youth and community development and evaluation.
