Francesco Riverso

Director of Corporate Partnerships and External Engagement

Francesco Riverso joined Falk College as an Internship Placement Coordinator in the Department of Sport Management in 2015, and in 2019 he was named Program Manager for Sport Analytics. In January 2025, he joined the Falk College advancement team as Director of Corporate Partnerships and External Engagement.

In his roles with Sport Management and Sport Analytics, Riverso developed numerous successful relationships with corporate partners and industry professionals, and his knowledge of the sport industry and ability to find meaningful opportunities for Falk helped shape the vision for the new Falk College of Sport.

As Director of Corporate Partnerships and External Engagement, Riverso leads strategic planning to strengthen and expand the Falk College of Sport’s network in sport and related industries with the goal of creating new and impactful opportunities for faculty and students. Riverso identifies and manages relationships to maximize investment in research and academic priorities and continues to support Sport Analytics in very focused and strategic ways.

As Program Manager for Sport Analytics, Riverso advised Sport Analytics majors, connected them to industry professionals, offered internship guidance, and worked to develop partnerships to benefit the program. In addition, he assisted in the coordination of the Berlin Sport Analytics Symposium and the Berlin Sport Analytics Academy at Syracuse University, as well as teaching HSH 101 and SPM 201.

Prior to Falk, Riverso worked as an academic counselor at Syracuse University in the College of Arts and Sciences, and as a residence hall director and assistant director of campus programs at Siena College in Loudonville. Riverso, who has worked at SU since 2007, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Le Moyne College, and a Master of Science degree in Higher Education from Syracuse University.
