Megan Snow

Ms. Snow, originally from Pulaski, New York, is a Health Educator passionate about mental health, LGBTQ+ health, nutrition and fitness, and social justice. She holds a master’s degree (M.S.) and bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Community Health from SUNY Potsdam. Additionally, Ms. Snow is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) via NCHEC and holds a QPR Instructor certification through the QPR Institute. Snow has worked within the field of Public Health in various capacities. She has conducted research on mental health’s connectedness to support of tobacco policy for Seaway Valley Prevention Council and New York State Advancing Tobacco Free Communities. Additionally, with SUNY Potsdam, assisted in the implementation and evaluation of campus-based health activities, including suicide prevention events and peer education programs. Finally, most of her background centers around implementing health education and policy, systems, and environmental change interventions to low-income communities in New York through the SNAP Education Program “Eat Smart New York”.
