The Sport Management (SPM) Club at Syracuse University announced The Salvation Army® of Syracuse as the beneficiary of its 11th Annual Charity Sports Auction. Slated for December 2nd in the backcourt of the Carrier Dome, the auction will take place in conjunction with the SU men’s basketball game vs. Wisconsin. “The Salvation Army is blessed by the generous support it receives from individuals, organizations and companies in our community. We are thrilled to be the recipient of the proceeds from the 11th annual Charity Sports Auction at Syracuse University. Funds raised through this event will stay in the Syracuse area, helping to encourage and empower those we serve to reach their full potential,” said Greg Meitus, who manages the public relations and marketing efforts of the Salvation Army. “The Salvation Army is grateful to SU’s Sport Management Club for partnering with us this year for this special event. The funds raised will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.”
