SU Charity Sports After Auction Sale Benefits Upstate Cancer Center

The Syracuse University Sport Management (SPM) Club held its Seventh Annual Charity Sport Auction on Saturday, December 10 at the Carrier Dome. Silent bidding took place on hundreds of auction items, including sports memorabilia and hands-on experiences, electronics and tickets to major sporting events, during the SU men’s basketball game against George Washington. All the proceeds from this year’s auction went to benefit the Upstate Cancer Center. Items not sold in the December 10th Silent Auction were available in an After Action Sale until December 21st.

Online Sports Auction in Collaboration with Steiner Sports
The Syracuse University Sport Management Club, in collaboration with Steiner Sports Memorabilia, held an online auction of premium items at the Steiner Sports Website through December 19. This on-line auction was a part of the Syracuse University Sport Management Club’s Charity Sports Auction to benefit the Upstate Cancer Center.

The on-line auction offered a wide range of sports memorabilia that provided a unique gift and included such items as a 1969 team signed NY Mets baseball, a NIKE Swoosh hat autographed by Phil Knight, a Bucky Dent signed MLB baseball and a Wayne Gretzky autographed jersey to name a few.
