Job shadowing gives students a valuable opportunity outside of their normal internship or capstone to get a glimpse into the professional world without making a large commitment. It also provides an opportunity for companies to recruit potential interns. The investment of alumni in mentoring students allows alumni to not only stay connected to the program but also give back into the education of the next generation.
