It is our pleasure to introduce you to the Bernice M. Wright (BMW) Child Development Laboratory School in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics's Department of Child and Family Studies at Syracuse University. Founded in 1970 through the joint efforts of Syracuse University students, who were parents of young children, and the College for Human Development (now the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics), we offer a high-quality, developmentally appropriate inclusive early childhood education program accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Our three-fold mission is to...
  1. Provide an optimal early childhood setting for the community;

  2. Serve as a teacher training facility, and;

  3. Support research that adds to the body of knowledge about children, families, and early childhood education.
